(Muhammad) 47 : 11
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَأَنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ لَا مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ

That is because indeed, Allah is the Protector of those who believed, while those who disbelieved have no protector.

The Protector of believers is Allah, as Adhikr submits, whereas the protector of disbelievers is Satan, who obstructs mankind from Adhikr. So, the believer who holds fast to Adhikr—the unbreakable Rope mentioned in verse 2: 256—is self-sufficient without depending on anyone other than the Lord. Satan has no ability except what is given by Allah. Satan is given ability to fulfill the wishes of disbelievers, as told in verse 19: 83, and to make their evil deeds appear attractive, as told in verses 6: 42-43. As told in verses 6: 112 and 114: 6, there is Satan both among the Jinn and mankind. See explanation 8: 48; 31: 22; and 38: 78, 82-83.
